What is BerkshiresTrails?

BerkshiresTrails began as a tribute to Jo’s dog, Mysty, and has since blossomed into a brand dedicated to promoting the beauty of the Berkshires. Can you believe it’s been 18 years of exploring and celebrating the Berkshire community?

The region offers a wealth of experiences, from scenic hiking trails and outdoor adventures like snowshoeing, kayaking, and skiing, to cultural gems such as art, festivals, galleries, and museums. You can also enjoy local wineries, breweries, farms, entertainment venues, live music, and farmers' markets.

BerkshiresTrails embraces the spirit of adventure, including volunteering at renowned locations like MASSMoCA, Greylock Glen Resort, the Berkshire Museum, and the famed Josh Billings RunAground Triathlon.

Mysty is now joined by her furry and feathered companions—Montana and Milly (dogs), Petey (rabbit), Comanche and Tiger (cats), and Elvis (bird).

PechaKucha, Berkshire Museum

Jo believes her greatest strength lies behind the scenes, rather than in front of an audience. Yet, here she is, presenting at PechaKucha Night at the Berkshire Museum. Her voice trembled throughout the presentation, which was emotional and deeply personal. The journey required her to give up her home and a rewarding job with incredible leaders at Launch Agency—a fast-growing agency in Dallas, TX. Jo was one of the original six team members who helped launch the agency, serving local, national, and international brands like American Airlines, Match, Hotels, and many others. Today, Launch proudly employs over 20 people.

Every brand should have swag so Jo partnered with Anthony J. Tomasi, the original owner of Tomasi's Sports & Awards in Bennington, Vermont also known as the Northern Shires. Some swag produced over the years has included mugs, T-shirts, baby blankets, and onesies. These days, Jo turns to Iconic Awards & Graphics for swag when she's itchy to do giveaways!
