The role centered on consulting with both existing and potential clients to help the team leverage digital marketing solutions, such as social media, SEO, SEM, Device ID, and more, to drive engagement and sales. Jo supported the sales team through pitches and reporting, while also mentoring team members to enhance their understanding of digital marketing strategies and strengthen their presentations. She was responsible for creating various content, including creative briefs, product positioning, blogs, case studies, and digital marketing podcast scripts. Additionally, Jo worked closely with both the creative and sales teams to ensure that marketing efforts were aligned with broader business objectives.
Since joining NENI, Jo was at the heart of building Talon Media from the ground up. She created the website’s sitemap and worked extensively on the overall structure and user flow to ensure intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience. Jo curated the visual content by selecting photos and videos. She was also responsible for writing all of the website’s copy. She collaborated closely with coders to bring her vision to life, with support from an Art Director and proofer/editor. Jo played a key role in rewriting and refining past case studies and blogs, while also generating new case studies and blogs from scratch. Her leadership and hands-on involvement were crucial in making the Talon Media website a reality, ensuring it aligned with the parent company's goals and marketing strategy.
Jo also helped guide a supporting ecosystem for Talon Media’s website, including social media profiles, a Google Business Profile, built an email marketing campaign schedule, and a podcast schedule all aimed at driving engagement and increasing visibility.
Lastly, Jo developed a mockup of berkshireeaglemedia.com, which is currently in the hands of web developers for further development.

Jo increased earned media and introduced additional services, such as social media management, landing page design, and seminar development, which included training for an in-house team member at Dow Michigan. Jo also collaborated with internal stakeholders at Dow (Edge Marketing Communications) and external partners like AMPM to support Dow's 5G product line. Furthermore, Jo provided support for Dow Mobility Science automotive innovation products, electronics (including data cooling), and lighting teams. This involved working with media publishers across various industry sectors and markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia.

Jo consulted with over 60 dealerships on their email marketing strategies, driving significant increases in sales (up to 4x) and service revenue (up to 7x). She played a key role in training SaaS marketing specialists on using Google Analytics to help dealers better understand their ROI. Additionally, Jo was instrumental in redesigning recurring and promotional emails and improving reporting processes for SaaS services across North America and Canada.
